Why do you need my mobile phone number?  [ + ]   
We use two-factor authentication to protect the privacy of all of our users. As part of the two-factor process we will send an SMS (text) with a verification code to your mobile phone. This verifies your identity. We only use text messages to send verification codes.
Why do you suggest using a different email address?  [ + ]   
Every relationship is different. For some couples the road to divorce is amicable and for others it might contain conflict. Since the process to divorce includes a lot of personal and financial information, we strongly suggest that everyone consider who might have access to their online credentials and make an extra extra effort to protect their privacy.
 
 
How secure is my data?  [ + ]   
The security of your data is our top priority. Our systems architecture is designed to provide the highest level of protection possible. We have implemented stringent protocols with encryption of data both as it comes in and as it goes out, peer review of all code, regular monitoring of our system and scans for breaches. We use two-factor authentication to ensure that you, and only you, can access your account. It is your responsibility to keep your phone number, email and password private and up-to-date, and then we will do our part to protect your data.
How is my data used by dtour.life?  [ + ]   
dtour.life will not use, share or sell personal information or data, or uploaded documentation with any company, organization or individuals outside of DTOUR, Inc. The only people with access to your data are those whom you invite to view or collaborate. Who can see my case information?  [ + ]   
Only the people you invite to view your case can see your case information. Each spouse owns their own data and can invite and terminate access to anyone at any time.
Once I have invited someone to share my case, can I later decide to remove them?  [ + ]   
Yes, every spouse owns all the information and can remove anyone’s access at any time. (Please note that licensed legal professionals whom you have retained will be granted access to the case information and their work product from the day access was granted until the day access was terminated. This complies with archive requirements for licensed legal professionals.)
 
What happens to my account and data if I choose not to subscribe after my 7-day trial expires?  [ + ]   
After 30 days, access to your account will be limited to the ability to add payment information. Any data you entered previously will remain and be available to those users you invited to collaborate on your case. For example if you invited a lawyer or mediator to be on your case, they will continue to have access to your data as long as their subscription is in good standing.
What is the benefit of paying $19/mo for access to the platform?  [ + ]   
When you break down the transactional process, divorce is about money and children. The dtour.life platform gives you a digital dashboard, guidance and the financial and document tools you need to manage what can often be an inefficient, protracted and expensive process. There will often be requests for updated information or new supporting documentation. dtour.life provides a central location where you and your team can share case data, reports and documentation. No more emails with attached pdfs to sift through.

The platform uses the input data to create Net Worth and Cash Flow reports that you and your legal professional will need to make important decisions about division of property and support.

The Spending Plan tool allows you to develop forward-looking budgets so you can make smart decisions about lifestyle decisions.

The cost of one year is equal to or less than 20 minutes to one hour of legal time. And, having access to the data post-divorce will be important for on-going settlement compliance, childrens expense and schedule and and estate planning tasks.
What happens if I cancel before my subscription period ends?  [ + ]   
You may cancel your subscription any time and any unused days in the 30-day billing cycle will be reimbursed to your credit card at the end of the billing cycle.
I subscribed to dtour.life, entered data, and now my divorce is on hold. Can I pause my subscription until I am ready to resume?  [ + ]   
Yes. Follow the directions below to cancel your subscription. Then, when you are ready to resume, re-subscribe with the same email you used for the original account and when you log-in, all of your data will be there.
How do I cancel my subscription?  [ + ]   
Log-in and click Account in the upper navigation. You will have two options on the left. Choose Payment and then scroll down to My Payment Plan. Click the Cancel Subscription button.
 
My case definitely requires a lawyer, so I still don’t understand why I should pay for dtour.life?  [ + ]   
When you hire a lawyer they will give you a very long list of the documents and information they need; it becomes a full-time job to manage the process, not to mention very expensive. For the first time there is now a comprehensive digital platform that helps you to collect and organize all of the data your lawyer will ask you for. They will ask for it over and over again and now you will have it easily editable and accessible. Having the information at your fingertips will also help you manage all of the issues post-divorce. Instead of sharing it digitally with your lawyer, you can send them pdfs or paper copies of all your reports. The value of the platform is simply exponential to both parties when used as a collaborative tool.
My divorce professionals don't use dtour.life, so how will it help me to use it?  [ + ]  
dtour.life is designed to work independently for spouses and independently for professionals. When you hire a lawyer they will give you a very long list of the documents and information they need; it is a full-time job to manage the process, not to mention very expensive. For the first time there is now a comprehensive digital platform that helps you to collect and organize all of the data your lawyer will need. They will ask for it over and over again and now you will have it easily editable and accessible. If your lawyer doesn't want you to share it digitally, you can send them pdfs or paper copies of all the reports. When also used as a collaborative tool with tech-savvy professionals, the platform provides greater efficiency and cost-savings. I thought the lawyer stored all of this information, so why do I need to store it, too?  [ + ]   
Yes, legal professionals are required to store all documents and work product on a case for many years. If they use the dtour.life platform, then they will be storing everything in their account just as you will. If they are not on this platform, then they will be use a combination of paper storage and other digital folders.

The tremendous value of this platform is threefold: first, after a case is completed there is a lot of work to do and the active and editable data and attachment repository empowers each spouse to have access to it without asking a lawyer to access his/her storage. Second, this on-going access makes it far easier to then address the post-divorce issues such as completing the tasks required as part of the final settlement, any new financial events such as a new mortgage, the all-important estate planning, etc. And lastly even though the settlement should be the end of it, there are often reasons to review the terms, modifications to support, the parenting plan, etc, and on-going access to your information will make this phase of the process infinitely easier and more efficient.
Do both my spouse and I have to sign up for this to work?   [ + ]   
No. dtour.life is designed to help every individual in the process- spouses and divorce professionals both independently and/or together. If two spouses are amicable, then dtour.life is a great tool to assist with joint digital management of data, reports and uploaded documentation. If only one spouse chooses to use it and/or if both spouses choose to use it but do not want to share access, then each spouse will manage their part of the process with efficient technology to save time, money and confusion.

I&E Sync: I only have log-in credentials for some of my bank accounts and credit cards, my spouse has the others. What do I do?   [ + ]   
This is very common in divorce. Log-in to whatever accounts you have access and download the data so that your lawyer can see what transaction information you do have. Then, in the asset and debt section enter everything know about the other accounts and credit cards that exist so that your lawyer can ask your spouse’s lawyer for the information.
I&E Sync: I downloaded transactions for the accounts to which I have access, and I manually entered expense data that was missing. How do I merge the data?   [ + ]   
The best way to merge the data from two different sections is to download both sets of data to a .CSV file and combine them. It is important to note that the data from the I&E Sync download is primary source data, verified, while the manually entered expense data is unverified.
I set-up my account and started entering my case information, how do I digitally collaborate with my lawyer?   [ + ]   
If you have created your case and entered data, then click +Access and invite your lawyer by entering their email address. They will receive an email with a link to sign up. Due to security and privacy, they will have to create a secure account with their own email and password in order to access your data. They will have a 90-day trial in which to work with you before being charged. (If your lawyer chooses not to adopt dtour.life technology, then you can export all of the reports as pdf files; the I&E Sync donwloiaded transaction data can be downloaded to a .csv file for their review.)
My lawyer set-up my case, how do I digitally collaborate?   [ + ]   
If your lawyer set-up your case first, it is important that you not create a duplicate. Once your lawyer creates the case on their dashboard, you will receive a dtour.life email with a link. Use that link to create an account on dtour.life. As soon as you create your user name and passowrd, you will land in the case that has been set-up for you.

 
How does your pricing plan work?  [ + ]   
Currently we are offering a free 90-day trial to give you time to explore the platform and work with your client(s) on their cases(s). After 90 days you have the option to subscribe at the monthly subscription fee of $50 to manage all your cases. (This includes complimentary access for up to four members of your internal staff.)
What happens at the end of my free 14-day Trial?  [ + ]   
At the end of 14 days, you will receive an email notifying you that your credit card will be charged for the subsequent month.
What happens to all the case data entered during the free 14-day trial if I choose not to continue with a paid subscription?  [ + ]   
After the trial period ends, your access to Reports and Tools (Cash Flow, Net Worth, Marital Estate Worksheets & Spending Plans) will be disabled. You will still be able to access the input tools including Case Profile, Assets & Debts, and Income & Living Expenses.

My client is not computer savvy or has no interest in working digitally, so how will I benefit from using dtour.life?  [ + ]   
dtour.life is designed to work independently for spouses and independently for professionals. For professionals it provides the first digital environment for managing all up-to-date case data. It allows you to easily add and edit as well as manage back-up documentation. It allows you to share it with any 3rd party professional for input on any of the financial or parenting issues. When also used as a collaborative tool, the platform provides greater efficiency and cost-savings to both you and your client, but it is not required for it to be of great value to you.
Can I remove the other experts I invited to a case?  [ + ]   
We have designed dtour.life to provide digital access to authorized individuals with full tranparency as to who can see the data. Both the client and the professionals can invite other professionals to have access. However, only the client may terminate access.
I set-up the case for my client and invited them to share access. Can I later remove them from having access?  [ + ]  
No. Once you invite a spouse and they have access to their own data you cannot withdraw their access. They can, of course, choose not to continue with a paid subscription and then they will only have limited access to view some of the inputs and the Case Profile.

    How do I set up each case to share with my client, my staff and experts?  [ + ]   
    dtour.life is designed to accommodate flexible workflows for traditional cases when a client and lawyer want direct, secure access; mediated cases in which a mediator works with the two spouses, and collaborative teams in which there are several professionals involved.     How do I invite the members of my staff to have access to each case?  [ + ]   
    Each professional subscription includes up to four complimentary accounts for your team so that each case may be shared internally. After you have set-up your account, use the “Chat” Feature to send us a message with your account and the names/email for the team members and we will assign them to your account. After we have done so, then, use the “Invite Professional” link to invite each staff member to each case. For security purposes. they will have to create their own log-in and passwords.
    I&E Sync: When I click Income & Expense Sync, I don’t see my client’s data?  [ + ]   
    Once your client logs in and links their accounts, the information will appear.
    Income & Expense: my client has data in both the manual and I&E Sync sections, how can I merge them into a single cash flow report?   [ + ]   
    Both sets of data can be downloaded into a .csv file and merged. It is important to remember that the I&E sync data is primary source, verified data, and the manually entered expenses are unverified.

    I do not want to use my work email to set up my account, what do I do?  [ + ]   
    Even if this is a corporate benefit, you can use any private email to set-up your dtour.life account.
    I don’t want anyone at work to know that I am exploring or maybe starting a divorce yet. Is my identity protected?  [ + ]   
    By providing dtour.life to its employees, your company recognizes the toll a divorce takes and they want to help. They also recognize how important confidentiality is in this situation. We have a strict policy to never release any personal information about our users identity including to corporate HR departments.
    What happens to my account and data if I leave the company?  [ + ]   
    If access to dtour.life is through your company and your employment status changes, just click “Contact” in the top navigation bar and use chat to send us a message. We will convert your account to a monthly subscription at our low monthly rate.
